Hello! I'm Erin.

After my own battle with OCD, I made it my mission to provide individuals with evidence-based treatment and raise awareness of the lesser known symptoms found in obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety disorders. According to the International OCD Foundation, estimates indicate that it can take 14-17 years for individuals to get the appropriate diagnosis of OCD and receive effective treatment. Through education and advocacy, I hope to spread understanding of the disorder and expand the availability of exposure therapy.

My approach to treatment is evidence based, active, and goal oriented. I value a strong interpersonal and therapeutic relationship to create a safe environment that is free of judgement. I work to collaborate with individuals to tailor a treatment plan that best fits their needs and goals.

If you have OCD or anxiety, please find a therapist who specializes in ERP. Talk therapy can actually make OCD and some anxiety symptoms worse! The International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) provides questions to help you find qualified ERP therapists. Visit the IOCDF website to learn more.

Rates, Payment & Insurance

My rate is currently $135 for 45 minute session. I also offer sliding scale options. If you require longer sessions, home visits, or additional weekly appointments, pricing will be discussed.

Fees for group therapy are $60 per group. You may also purchase a group package at a discounted rate:

  • $440 for 8 group sessions (2 months)
  • $800 for 16 group sessions (4 months)

We accept cash, check, and credit cards.

You will be asked to provide credit card information to book your first session. Payment schedules for successive visits will be discussed at the first session.

Please cancel appointments 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, you will be charged the full session fee for the missed appointment. This applies to the first session as well.

Late cancellation fees and missed appointment fees are not reimbursed by insurance companies.

I am out-of-network with insurance companies, however I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Contact your insurance company to understand your out-of-network benefits. Reimbursement will depend on your insurance plan.

There are many advantages to using private pay for therapy. Due to the rising costs of health-care, insurance benefits have increasingly become more complex. Self-pay ensures that your records and diagnoses are entirely confidential documents, as we will not have to submit them to insurance or a third-party payer.

Due to the nature of exposure therapy, treatment often involves appointments that need to be longer than an hour, and may involve multiple sessions a week, at-home sessions, video sessions, and/or public exposures. Self-pay allows for greater freedom in the type(s), availability, and duration of treatment to get to the root of the problems you are facing, which greatly increases the efficacy and personalization of treatment.

The resources below provide more information about out-of-network coverage, understanding your mental health benefits, and submitting to insurance for reimbursement.

I am at a place in my mental health that I never saw possible! While ERP was horrifying at times it turned my world around. I am able to live my life as a normal college student with little to no worries. I continue to carry the tools I learned in case I need them. Erin is hands down the best therapist I have ever had. She has had such a positive impact on my life.
